1. Who we are
justlol operates this leaderboard and is the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected]
2. What we collect
Listing data you submit: the URL, title, description and category. This is public by design and visible to every visitor. Your email address, which we receive from our payment processor after a completed payment, and which is not published. Payment records limited to an order identifier and the amount paid. We never see or store your card details. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics, including approximate location, device and browser information, and pages viewed.
3. Why we use it
To display the leaderboard, to attribute a listing to its owner so it can be managed later, to process payments and meet the record-keeping obligations that come with them, and to understand aggregate usage of the site. Displaying listings and processing payments are necessary to perform our contract with you; analytics rests on our legitimate interest in understanding usage, or on your consent where local law requires it.
4. Who receives it
Polar, our payment processor and merchant of record, which handles the transaction and holds the payment data. Google Analytics, which processes usage data and sets cookies. Our hosting provider, which processes requests to the site. Each of these acts under its own privacy terms. We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies
We use cookies for Google Analytics and for remembering your language and theme preference. Preference cookies are necessary for the site to work as you configured it. You can block cookies in your browser; the leaderboard will still function.
6. How long we keep it
Listing data remains for as long as the listing is public. Payment records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically several years. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
7. International transfers
Our processors may handle data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on the safeguards those processors have put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact [email protected] from the address used at checkout. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Note that removing a listing does not refund a bid.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
