Terms of Service

1. The service
justlol operates a public leaderboard. Listings are ordered by the total amount paid against them, highest first. Paying for a listing buys placement on this board and nothing else. It is not advertising on any other surface, it is not an endorsement, and it confers no rights over the position beyond what is described here.
2. Placement
Placement is relative, not guaranteed. Anyone may pay more and rank above you at any time, and your position may fall as a result. This is the intended behaviour of the service, and a fall in rank caused by another party's bid is not a defect and is not grounds for a refund.
3. Your listing
You confirm that you have the right to list the URL you submit and that its title and description accurately describe it. You are solely responsible for the content at the destination. One listing exists per URL; submitting a variant of a URL that is already listed raises the bid on the existing listing rather than creating a new one.
4. Content we refuse
We may refuse, remove, or refuse to rank any listing at our discretion, including listings that break the rules published on the Rules page, that link to illegal content, malware or phishing, that misrepresent their destination, or that we judge harmful to the service or its visitors. Removal for a breach of these terms does not entitle you to a refund.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record. Polar handles the transaction, applicable taxes, and the payment receipt. Amounts are calculated on our servers; any amount submitted by your browser is disregarded. Prices are shown in US dollars.
6. Managing your listing
There are no accounts. Ownership of a listing is established by the email address used at checkout together with the management link sent to it. Anyone holding that link can manage the listing, so keep it private. We cannot restore a lost management link to anyone who cannot demonstrate control of the original email address.
7. Availability
The service is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any particular listing will remain visible for any period. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost traffic, or lost business opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict of law rules, and without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
